Growing: From Seed to the Home
Over 50 years of constant refinement of our growing, harvesting, and handling practices allow us to provide our customers with the best possible Christmas trees.

Seedlings
Seedlings grow in raised seed beds for 3 years. We baby them here.

Seedlings to Transplants
Seedlings are carefully lifted, graded, and then grown in rich soil transplant beds for further root development.

Room to Grow
Rooted transplants are lifted again, graded again, and then bundled for sale to other Christmas tree growers or field planted to become Fox Brand Christmas trees.
Still in compost-enriched soil, and at final spacing, our trees grow in place for six to nine years before harvest.

Growing in Place
Every year we carefully shape the trees to increase density and improve shape. We strive for a natural, soft appearance with great ornament-holding capacity.
Harvest Time
We take great care to preserve the freshness of our Christmas trees during harvest, handling, and shipping. We want to be your freshest tree.
Every tree is tagged with care instructions to help ensure a fresh healthy tree that stays beautiful and vibrant throughout your customer’s Christmas season.

Nature’s Cycle
The stumps remaining after the trees are harvested are chipped in place so they can decompose and nourish the soil for the next generation of Christmas trees.
Compost from our on-site composting facility will be added to enrich the soil further. Better trees start with better soil.
The cycle begins again.
